A training session for gathering signatures for an iniative to support state parks will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, 7-8:30 pm at the Duck Club, 5 Riparian View Way in Irvine (at the San Joaquin Marsh).

California State Park Foudation, the Sierra Club and Audubon California are working to collect signatures to put an initiative on the November ballot that would protect our state park in perpetuity. The initiative would provide an $18 vehicle licensing fee that would give those with a California vehicle license free day use of all state parks.
